Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking is one of the most popular prevention measures which acts holistic and carefully on the whole organism.

The course principles in detail:

  • • movement to support cardiovascular functions
  • • movement and promotion of the muscle and skeletal system
  • • avoidance and reduction of overweight
  • • assistance for physical and mental wellbeing

Hereby, the muscular system will be strengthened, the condition will increase and the fitness will improve. That leads to an improvement of the cardiovascular function and the movement and the respiration are consciously perceived. Movement in the nature and in groups will lead to stress management and relaxation. The basic motor abilities will be practiced. It is an effective start to a coronary workout. The programs are based epidemiologic and scientific findings and will be performed under supervision of a physiotherapist/masseur/ medical lifeguard with additional qualification “Nordic Walking coach”.
